Designs
Owner Gwen Nowrick personally researches each of our clothing reproductions.
She examines extant garments in museums, and corresponds with curators around
the world gathering information about items in their collections. Each reproduction
garment is based on this painstaking research, and the designs have been field
tested by reenactors worldwide for fit and longevity. Our garments are professionally
sewn by our hand-picked team of seamstresses who take pride in their work.
Nothing leaves our shop until it has been carefully inspected.
Historic Arms & Armour™
Established in 1987, is owned and operated
by master armourer Jeffrey Hedgecock.
With over 16 years of professional experience in
armouring, Mr. Hedgecock personally crafts many
of the pieces produced in his Historic Arms &
Armour™ workshop and closely supervises production
of all other armouring work. Everything struck with
the Historic Arms and Armour mark carries with it
the uncompromising craftsmanship, standard of excellence
and level of artistry upon which Mr. Hedgecock has
built his reputation. |
